Nothing is certain with The Grand Union - except that if you make it to this wonderful restaurant you will have an absolutely magical experience. Do not be surprised if you try and book and are asked (very nicely and mysteriously) to wait until you are called back with a confirmation (The Grand union only opens with the 'right' number of people to create the perfect atmosphere). Do not be surprised when your evening comes compered by someone who loves food as much as they clearly and self evidently love life. Sitauted right on the banks of the Grand Union (in the Summer the views from the window are fabulous), the Union's uniqueness in atmosphere and booking is mirrored in the quality and imagination of the (six course) dinner. Just listen out for the number of people asking for the recipe of each and every course! Very - very, special.
