Set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, The Shake (as locals know it) is a delightful country pub tucked away in the village of Harbury just off the Fosse Way. Serving a selection of traditional homemade pub food and a la carte meals the cuisine is simple yet full of taste and elegantly presented, with dishes to suit all tastes and generations. The wine list is diverse, covering a variety of countries from across the world. As you would expect beer is plentiful with traditional guest ales changing frequently. The premises is a Grade II Listed building, with oak beams and flagstone floors. Combining with the traditional features is a little modern flair, to create an inviting and slightly contemporary approach to dining. There is a lovely garden laid mainly to lawn with patio area. Outside seating is available and the outside lighting and sound of the fountain create a charming ambience to dine on a summers evening. Customers also benefit from free on site car-parking. The pub has been substantially overhauled by the current Landlord. Many customers saying that the pub is the best its ever been. Theme nights are held once a month with the current focus on different countries around the world including relevant entertainment. The pub also boasts successful darts and pool teams. The Shakespeare Inn is the perfect venue for private functions, such as Christenings, Birthday Celebrations or small to medium Wedding receptions, to name but a few.
